From 16th to 17th of March the FFC Steering Committee took place, where the Coordinator – Luka Koper has hosted the meeting.
The two days event has been a good opportunity for monitoring the state of the art of the activities foreseen by the project and for the coordination on the next steps concerning the FFC second season.
As a matter of fact, FFC has seen the launch of the second season that will foresee several actions such as the departure of the pilot trains of the second deployment period and the new green technology for cooling refeer containers that will be tested in the coming months.
In particular, on 17 of March the meeting has been attended by the INEA FFC Project Officer. In this occasion, a presentation per activity has been illustrated by the project partners, in order to provide to the project officer a detailed update on the results obtained and the upcoming challenges of FFC.
The Project Officer was present during the preparation of the 3rd FFC train, that has departed on 18th of March from the Port of Koper to Rotterdam.
Meanwhile, the project’s promotional campaign continues and, after attending last month the Fruit Logistica Fair in Berlin, the Fresh Food Corridors will be presented at one of the most important fair, Munich Transport and Logistics , which will take place from the 9th to the 12th of May 2017.
